Now I get messages every week from women in Lagos, London, Toronto, Mumbai, and Atlanta saying the same thing: "Mary, I made my first money online. I cried." And every single time, I cry too.

That's why I do this. Not for the followers. Not for the clout. For the moment a regular person realises their phone is actually a doorway — and they finally walk through it.
